Do You have an Eye For Fashion?

     Our world is full of colors, and you can just take a look at the color wheel to see all the warm colors and cool colors that we see in our world.  I’m sure you can look at the wheel instantly spot the ones you are drawn too the most.  I once had my coloring done many years ago while at a friend’s Beauty Party.  I wanted to see if I was a Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter.  My color results came back that I was a Spring, and at the time I was around 20 years of age thinking no I’m a Summertime girl.  Turns out the simple truth of it is that I look best in warm colors with my brown hair, light green eyes, and warmer tone skin.   For sure gold is my color rather then silver although most of my life I’ve enjoyed mostly silver jewelry until recently.  

     Did you know just like your wardrobe when it comes to colors it is important to know what colors compliment your eyes, hair, and skin tone when choosing eyewear too? It’s true!  If you look at the underneath side of your wrist you’ll see those tiny little veins.  Some people are going to see blue and purple while others like myself will look more yellowish green.

     If yours look bluish purple your best options will be cooler color frames and frames with silver.  Quite the opposite if the underneath of your wrist is yellowish green your best color options for eyewear are going to be warm color frames and gold tone frames not silver.  So the rule of thumb is just like matching your makeup look at the underside of your wrist for your true coloring.

     There are a few colors that are exempt in the eye fashion world that look good on most anyone.  Black is at the top of the list.  Anyone can wear black frames, and the Plum and Periwinkle color’s look good on most anyone as well.  Clear frames are really hot for 2021, and they work well for either coloring too.  Lastly, the timeless tortoise shell color frames are one’s that pairs well with any outfit, and works for people who have cooler tones or warm tones..

t’s true!  Bring on the colors!  Fashion trends for 2021 are saying that Blue is going to be big in the fashion world.  Look for Blue in the Optical World as well.  Happy 2021 Ya’ll!
